Hmm.
Unemployment is at record highs all over the land.
People are committing suicide when they lose hope that they can feed their children, pay their mortgage, and ever plan to retire.
Our children are falling behind as other countries educate their youngsters to outperform ours.
We are worried that this will be the first time that the upcoming generation will not be as prosperous as their parents or grandparents.
So what are our best and brightest, our policy makers, our elected officials doing to address these issues?
They are deciding what a woman should do with her own body and her unborn child. Oh, and most of the deciders are men, by the way.
They are deciding who can fall in love, who can marry, and what constitutes a marriage.
They are proudly carrying their colorful standards forward onto the battlegrounds of the culture wars.
While they posture and bluster, people are giving up, becoming more hopeless, and dying.
Now, I’m not a smart man, but…

I used to be a political junkie but I just can’t stomach it any longer. I dislike all politicians…republicans, democrats and independents! I only listen to enough news to stay informed on a very basic level and be able to hold a conversation in social settings. It just came out that the Sheriff of my county is gay. For the love of God, I could care less what that man does in his bedroom!! I want him to do his job and do it well, which he has in my opinion, but now all the local media is talking about is his sexual orientation. It makes me so angry. But there is also the part of me that is disappointed since I think he is a really good looking guy

My wife told me two days ago of the lady black legislator in GA who introduced a parity/parody bill in GA legislature in which men who want a vasectomy have to submit to all kinds of idiotic intrusive measures a la the implied consent ‘vaginal probe’ exams for abortions etc. Shades of Comedy Central.
